Historical low according to steamdb too.
Which is strange since I remember the entire 40k having a franchise sale very recently and so would have the most sense to give such a discount during that time, instead of now since I don't really think there's any special occasion currently...

Kind of a letdown if it does honestly, but I guess it has its fanbase.

Ah why not. It's hard to argue with 5 euro for a decent looking 40k game. Might be fun for a few hours..

this is a really good diablo-like game, if you are into this type of games you should try this one

how does it compare to Grim Dawn, Last Epoch and Path of Exile though?
and when it comes down to it... just playing another season of Diablo 2 resurrected?

i haven't played Grim Dawn or Last Epoch so i have no idea about those. For me the top of this genre is Path of Exile and Diablo(currently playing some Diablo 4). i have around 50 hours in Martyr, it is quite enjoyable and not very complicated(like PoE), i like the fact that it is a different scenery more futuristic with space travel, guns, mechs and not the classic magic/medieval style.

It will be great to have a "Complet Your Collection" to get the Adeptas Sororitas for an extra %OFF (currently 50% off) i love this game but it
becomes very repetitive in the endgame (and kinda boring, or does it feel like this after +570 hours lol).

If I got 50 hours for $9 I wouldn't be upset. Is it really a Diablo-like?

Yes, an ARPG, you kill mobs to level up and get better gear, to keep killing mobs from higher levels to get more powerful gear, to kill mmm lol

Also included in Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Definitive Edition for 9€.

Warhammer 40k is just a setting. There are some good games with the setting and lots of terrible games.

Seems offline mode will be added after all: Steam Announcement

Inquisitors,

With our recent sale of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Definitive Edition
many of you wondered whether this might be a sign of imminent delisting or some kind of ceasing of online services. This is absolutely, definitely not the case.

We believe in preserving our work for future players, so Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is not going to be delisted nor become unusable. This is true for all DLCs also. The game was conceived as an online experience and it was presented in an online mode for a reason. However, we'd also like to ensure that everybody can play, so naturally, we have plans to add an offline mode sometime in the near future, with an additional surprise!

In short: Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr will not be purged from existence. There's one simple reason for this:

The Emperor Protects.

True, I was contemplating to buy it or not.
Having in mind if I buy I need to rush through it in the near future to be sure I am able to "finish" the game before it becomes unplayable.
How things look now, that won't be necessary.

At this price it's hard to argue. Plus you also have 2 hours to play and refund. The game has a lot of content, and there are also mission DLCs along with a new class, the most expensive DLC is the latest one with a new class. Do you need any DLC? Not really, I think the game is fun on its own, but the new class is fun.

They are adding offline mode so even if the game might not get DLC or any new content, it still has lots of stuff to do. I think at this price it's a no brainer, if you are into ARPG with some tactics. As I said, get it, try it and refund if you dislike. It's simple.

Great to hear that they're adding an offline mode. To the best of my knowledge that isn't a common practice with online-only games. I was concerned that it would be dead by the time I managed to get around to playing it.

That also shows they might not have any other plans for the game and if it does get delisted, we can still play offline. Then again, it has been supported for years...
