Trine (and the sequel) is fantastic as is Portal (and the sequel). I've heard good things about Papers, Please as well and hope to pick it up sometime myself.

it really depends on your taste
child of light is a decent turn based rpg with lovely graphics but a repetive gameplay and rushed story
papers please is a new management kind of game and pretty hard too.i really liked it but for a short play
to the moon has great story that relly suck you in...you can't leave the game when you started it!
trine had a nice gameplay idea but couldn't do it relly great.a decent game at most
personally i chose to the moon.after that you can chose between portal and child of light.

Trine, Papers, Please, and DEFINITELY Portal.
