Just curious.
I never skip a giveaway based on the amount of entries, there's always a winner therefore there's always a chance, no matter how little.

this ^.^ The way I narrow it down is to only enter the ones on my wishlist since that gives me plenty to have fun with in hopes I win.

Entries don't matter. Somebody will win, no matter the amount of entries, so what if it is me? I have to try then. :3

It varies a lot for me, dependant upon the game and my level of optimism....
I'm a natural optimist, but even I baulk at entering a GA with 2 days left and 20,000 entries for ONE KEY.

I don't care - just enter things from my wishlist :)

1000.
Sidenote i entered loads of 5000 coin giveaways on tremorgames, always 500 entries, since i started there, i must have entered over a 500 (probaby alot more) never won once. Would almost say it was rigged but i know someone who did win it.

Well i spoken out a few times on how they did nothing against those people that scammed 10000's of coins from certain companies, but since they don't scam Tremorgames and in fact makes them money, in theory they could put you on some "list".
Most likely it seems i am just extremely unlucky though.

Doesn't matter to me. I just try to join giveaways based on time (as in, the 'new' page) - which means that, with the new point system, I am perpetually stuck on page six or so, for I don't have point lefts for any giveaways made on pages one to five, even though I only come here twice per day or so. Yes, this is foolish from an 'I want to maximise my winning chances' perspective, but I don't really care about that. Time is my only criterium, not winning chance / entries.

I've noticed almost all my wins were >1000 entries. So I think that's the magic #.

Over 100 entries and I feel like I'm wasting points. I enter every giveaway from my wishlist (unless they ask not to if I won t play it soon) but anything above 100 seems like a dream to win. Its very rare i win because im the most unlickiest person ever.

This varies so much dependant on if wishlisted or not, level restrictions, multiple copies, point restrictions, group or whitelisted giveaways. I don't have a set rule maybe except anything over 2000 for triple A games I really want.

For you personally, what amount of entries makes you skip the giveaway because it's 'too many' and you view it as waste of points/virtually unwinnable ?
I tend to not enter anything with more than 1000 because well let's be real ,chances of winning that is pretty pretty slim. Especially with the new point system i often even skip most of my wishlist giveaways due to huge number of entries.
