Bought my steam link and controller from Black Friday one year ago (from Amazon as the store still says "coming soon"). I still play on my PC perhaps 75% of the time, but my lounge and TV now have a use... Best purchase ever.

I'd really love a steam link because since I "upgraded" to windows 10 the HDMI output on my toaster refuses to work so I can't connect the fucker to the TV now. Thing is, the shipping on the damned thing is like 3 times the price of the unit itself, which is a joke and bumps the price up to around 20€ and at that point I'm not interested out of principle.

Is there a way to order 2 pieces? It doesn't make much sense when shipping is 2x the price, but with two pieces in a box I might actually get it.

PC is in the same room, so you can control it while sitting at your TV?

If so, then no, you don't need it.

This is for people with a computer in another room or another floor in their house. Input devices connect to the Link in the room with the TV. The Link receives video output from the computer in the other room, and relays input signals back to it.
