Do you love to watch series?
I really enjoyed Gotham, not sure what it's on now but it used to be on Netflix. It's amazing if you like DC villains and Gordon. I'm not sure what you've already watched, but then you've got all the stuff on Netflix like the Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and Titans, but these all tend to start off really strong and then go a bit downhill in the later seasons. Black Lightning seems to be good too, but I've only watched the first season so far.
I can't speak for Marvel since I only really watch their movies, but you'll def find some good stuff on disney plus!

I watched the first season of Gotham with my Dad but got scared haha I'm a wimp I know and was younger... younger as least XD
I LOVED The Flash which led me to the Arrow which became my new favorite. I wasn't a fan on Legends Of Tomorrow after the first few seasons. I vaguely remember starting Luke Cage but not sure and have not watched Black Lightning. I think I might check out Gotham again if I have access to it!

This is a Buffy rewatch, and seen Angel multiple times! I'm not sure if I'll rewatch it just yet though. Buffy is one of my top 5 shows of all time.
If you like Buffy/Angel, I highly recommend: Person of Interest, Dollhouse, Tru Calling, and Moonlight.

It's just that some of the Buffy episodes reference the Angel episodes. Absolutely love Buffy, I was greatly into anything Whedon created before the controversy. Firefly is my favorite and I really enjoyed Dollhouse as well. I remember watching some Tru Calling back in the days on tv, Eliza Dushku was such a cool and bad ass actress. Person of Interest always seemed a bit too serious for me, Moonlight I never heard about.

Right now I'm watching The Studio and it's way better than I expected. Today I've seen 1x07 which covered the topic of businesses trying to avoid conflicts/offending anyone, with the result of making everything worse with every step. It was amazing, with a very well written script.
Other recommended shows I've watched recently on my Apple TV+ run:
Slow Horses S4, Shrinking and Presumed Innocent. Silo and Severance both had weaker second seasons.
The last great series I watched on Netflix was My Mister. And Blue Eye Samurai.

In the past three months the only non-animated series that I considered great, was Your Friends & Neighbors.
Among the anime stuff I enjoyed Kaguya-sama: Love is War and Dan Da Dan.
Otherwise plenty of disappointments, be they k-dramas (When Life Gives You Tangerines), Anime (Chainsaw Man or Cyberpunk: Edgerunners).
Just today I started Vincenzo. The first episode was promising, I hope they develop some depth into all these characters.

I'll have to wait before I see that, I currently don't have Apple TV subscribed and don't intend to do so before spring.
I established the rule to never to subscribe more than two video streaming services at a time.
Can't wait to judge Roddy (and everyone else) once again though. 😁

These are best (and pretty fresh) I saw this year and can heavily recommend all of them:
The Rehearsal - metamodern cringe comedy
Andor - best sw on the market can thrive without jedis and lightsabers
The Eternaut - surprise from Argentina, a bit slow for some, but for me perfect pacing
Severance - best 2022 mind-bending artsy series with amazing 2nd season
Say Nothing - historic drama about IRA worth watching
Silo - great sci-fi...which is rare by itself
I didn't watch anime for more like 4 years I think, but later I watch 3 titles in a row and all of them was great
Dandandan, Chainsaw man, Frieren

Frieren (Anime) Season 1, so so SO so good. I'm very excited for season 2. I might start reading the manga.
Mobland: I still have 2 episodes of season 1 to watch. Quite good.

Just finished watching The Pitt, really loved it.
I don't often like medical dramas - they're almost always so derivative, cliched and unrealistic. This is totally different; it has a real authenticity and feels like it genuinely captures some of the intensity and emotion of working in the E.R. of a busy public hospital in a major city. Lots of really compelling character work, and the concept of having each episode of the show reflect successive hours throughout a busy shift works extremely well.
Can't wait for season 2!

i just finished The Promised Neverland, its a great anime, and very short, they definitely cut the show short, the last episode just shows some quick screenshots summing up the rest of the story, so youll have to read the manga to get the full story

1-I tried Dark on a recommendation from a friend. Managed to get part way through season 3 where I realised I no longer cared about the two main characters, was getting very confused about who was who when different timestreams popped up (there is constant time travel back and forth and then there is also alternate history time travel too :(), and decided I would try something else.
2- Black Doves (loved it)
3- The Recruit (loved it)
4- Mindhunter (loved it)
5- Mr Robot (currently viewing - also loving it)
6- Stranger Things (final season is due here about November - looking forward to it). Seen and enjoyed the first 4 seasons.
7 -Enjoyed Night Watch, Spec Ops: Lioness, Bodyguard
I tend to enjoy Sci-Fi, action, chaos in general :)

Event Horizon sounded familier so I googled it. I have not watched it - Dead Space type of horror shows up my cowardly centre and Event Horizon might veer into that sort of category.
Ages ago I wanted to watch the first Resident Evil movie which they had based on the game.
Quickly discovered the only way I could finish it was to tape it and try watching it the next day as the suspense and horror was a bit much. Fast forward worked beautifully on the horror bits - I caught the gist and the fact there was no sound did not matter as the only real sound in those bits are screams or groans.
I might give it a try but will not promise to finish :)

The Bear-on the current season from this year, dopest TV show around 11/10
The Rehearsal-cringe comedy/meta (fake)docudrama piece. Feels like this is what a Charlie Kaufman TV show would be like.

I want to talk about two BLOODY BRITISH gangster series, that have a lot in common.
GANGS OF LONDON and MOBLAND. If you like one, chances are you'll like the other, so consider it a two-for-one deal.
GANGS OF LONDON:
I like this one cause it's so unrelentingly bleak. I mean if you think something bloody and horrible is gonna happen to a character, you're probably right. It is ultra-violent and over the top in ways that reminded me of 'the raid' in many ways, and it definitely isn't shy about showing off the action. You might consider this heightened reality, as parts of london get blown up in attacks so big they'd make osama bin laden blush, yet nobody ever hears a siren. But you go with it, cause it's entertaining as hell.
MOBLAND:
This one you'll probably identify as the one with the big stars in it. Another series with tons of violence and also seems to take place in an alterative universe where cops don't exist, but a little less violent than the former and really fun performances from pierce brosnan and judi dench as a couple crazy ass (irish gypsy?!?) gangsters. So much depraved family drama you'll think you're watching the British answer to Yellowstone. Tom hardy i'm a fan of, but he's so low-key compared to the colorful performances of brosnan and dench he ends up being kind of a drag. I wish he was more part of the fun than mister serious. Watching dame judi dench growl and spit curses and threaten to castrate people is something to see.
Which one do you guys like better?

Could be anime or anything. I am watching and loving the series Yellowstone right now, also will watch its prequels as well, some which i think even starred the great guy Harrison Ford.
