Can the gift still be sent?

When I click on "Store the gift in my inventory to send later" it says:

Gifts become tradable after a Steam account has been in good standing for at least 90 days. This gift will become tradable on 23 January 2013. See the Steam Trading FAQ for more information.

Can I still gift something now?

Yes, you can gift it to someone, you just can't trade it through Steam trade. (not the site steamtrades.com)

Yes, trough mail. You can't trade it trough steam client though...
