Also check out Shining in the Darkness if you're into dungeon-crawlers.
Edit: I should mention this has a slow start.

Tips for OP- Skip out on The Elder Scrolls: 1, 2, and 5. And Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is not what you are looking for.

after i played skyrim for sometime, i decided to play oblivion and morrowind, i hated them both a lot so i never touched them again

Going from Skyrim to Morrowind is like going from WoW to EQ. If you can look past all of the convenience you got used to in Skyrim, and the low-grade graphics, Morrowind will suck you in.

I like Morrowind and Skyrim. Oblivion was a few walled off locations + swaths of randomly generated land and randomly generated loot. That shit was very very boring.

I was trying to think of a game like this recently. I came up blank though will watch this thread to see if anyone suggests something good. Amnesia is a good example for the scale I'm looking for. The Elder Scrolls games all have tiny castles/forts usually only a few areas each. One of the most disappointing things about those games.

Castlevania series - it's right in the title and exploration is the focus of many games in series. Latest game was also annonced for this year's release on PC.
Dark Souls - a lot of time must be spent inside medieval castles and cities; not scary, but hard.
Legacy of Cain - fearures many gothic castles.

I'm looking for some kind of castle exploration game, just like Amnesia but without the scare things, you know? I really enjoy medieval-like games and such, can anyone recommend me a game?
It would be better if you can explore the castles and such. Thanks in advance.
