Looking for medieval-like / castle exploration games.

Morrowind?

any elder scrolls game, i dont know if medieval warfare has some but that too, dark souls, legend of grimrock

Oblivion. Same area as Morrowind, only slightly more current.

I was trying to think of a game like this recently. I came up blank though will watch this thread to see if anyone suggests something good. Amnesia is a good example for the scale I'm looking for. The Elder Scrolls games all have tiny castles/forts usually only a few areas each. One of the most disappointing things about those games.

Castle exploration theme makes this kinda limited, but you said you like medieval games in general so try mount and blade warband :D so good

TF2 Medieval mode.

Castlevania series - it's right in the title and exploration is the focus of many games in series. Latest game was also annonced for this year's release on PC.

Dark Souls - a lot of time must be spent inside medieval castles and cities; not scary, but hard.

Legacy of Cain - fearures many gothic castles.

Witcher 2 maybe

In "Clive Barker's Jericho" are castles too

the bard's tale has a bunch of castles. with secret things to find.

Dark Souls is the game you are looking for.It's very difficult though.

Arx Fatalis. Ive spent alot of time on that.

Arcanum, if you can find a copy anywhere in the world you will never ever regrt playing it

I can remember only of Thief as now

you can also play minecraft and download a castle map or make your own, or maybe gmod

I vote for Dark Souls.
