I just saw https://store.steampowered.com/app/1577120/The_Quarry/ get 0 CV because of the trial that the publisher puts there. I think this is not rare. I did file a report about this. Do you know any game that have the same situation?

Response from Mod:

I've added the DLC "The Quarry - Full Game" - https://store.steampowered.com/app/1891950/ to the giveaway list which should be a workaround for future giveaways. Previous giveaways can be changed but only by cg without a ticket and that might take some time to be done. Users would be free to submit a Change Giveaway Game in this case to recover their CV, if they would like to do so.

Sorry to bother you, but can you please check if https://store.steampowered.com/sub/727612 can be added to list? That's full game sub, it's available in steam store and has a price there, so theoretically should be possible to add.
Also, if it will be possible to add above sub - I guess https://store.steampowered.com/app/1577120/The_Quarry/ can be removed from list to avoid confusion.

I say Steam is to blame for this, just look how the game is presented when you search for it on steam:

I thought the publisher is the one who is playing around with the game page, don't they?

yes the publisher gets to author the game page, but I meant the blame is on steam for presenting such confusing results. It is up to them to create an API with no ambiguity that can distinguish cases where games have both a "trial" mode along with the full game on the same page, where the API should return the price of the full game rather than reporting it as "free", hence the 0 CV detected here on SG...

Other cases come to mind like Life Is Strange 2, Hitman 2, etc.
