Been there. Kudos for making an old Pentium IV system last so long. You may celebrate by going to buy a new motherboard, Core i5 and memory, then recycling the case and all salvageable parts from the old girl.

It might be a hint. In 2009 I was planning to get a Core i5, once they're released, but a fan on my MB started making trouble before that, and I got a Phenom II X3 710 instead. Not sure it was the best move. :)

(Well, actually it's still serving me in my HTPC, and I think it was money well spent.)
