I noticed the email about an hour after it came and by that time they had already ran out of keys, but I also just found a giveaway here with 6 copies, so what's happening is that people are exploiting it.
These are always so hard to get, so far only once I was able to click that link on time.

You should try doing the Pantaloon puzzles. They reserve a key for you if you complete it.

uhhh no? If you are registered you will get an email each month that talks about the game they are going to give away, some interesting indies, and the puzzle and GAs scheduling. And later that month you get a mail with a puzzle that you must solve before X date. They usually take around 30m to solve 1h at worst.
Primo does indeed reserve the key for you if you didn's solve the puzzle tho.

Was able to get one this month but it's definitely a shot in the dark, especially when there is no set time to receive keys. Didn't know someone had multiple copies but it makes sense as to why the keys disappear so quickly.

The first post claiming it had sold out was more than 16 hours after it had started and it mentions that they already had it in the cart and they were just contemplating shortly and it sold out during that. First comments about it being sold out on the respective Reddit threads were even later than that.
