I'm not sure about any curse but do you know what's worse than winning it? Buying it before knowing any better, attempting to play it without gouging my eyes out (lasted about twenty minutes), and finally giving in and firing up SAM to collect the cards. One of them ended up being a dupe and it took forever to sell even though I was offering it for one cent lower than the lowest price at the time. Then I still had to buy the missing cards to craft the badge. Was it worth it? Hell yea! I got the game on sale for only nineteen cents last year (I see that it is on sale for the same price again) and my eyes eventually healed up quite nicely. I have a background and emote that will get me six cents if they ever sell. Yea, right. Like that's going to happen in my lifetime. If I leave my Steam account to my kids when I die they may be fortunate enough to see them sell. Oh, who am I fooling? Those damned things will never sell. Maybe I should just silently slip them in during a trade.
I'll remember to wear mittens if I ever dare attempt to play it again. I am not exaggerating when I say that Bad Rats was the worst game that I had ever played until I this monstrosity called Uriel's Chasm became a part of my inventory. That was five minutes of my life that I will never be able to recover. The doctors did do a good job of matching the color of my new artificial eye to the real one though.

Ok. I got Bad Rats on sale too, only I never played the game, SAM did for me. But now? I'd like to see if it's that terrible. I'm going to install the game and try it out tonight. Also, I do wish that Uriel's Chasm will be (again?) given away on IndieGala. I've heard so much bad stuff about this game, I need to see for myself if those people were exaggerating. And for the record, no, I'm not masochistic... I'm just really curious. :3
