Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChartβ„’ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

[Buy] One could argue that this is a better deal than Groupees - Blender Games Bundle that launched 2 days ago.
[Have] I have them. Does anyone else not have them?
[Skip] I am aMAZEd that DIG actually has the guts to request money for a bundle full of games given away, several times even.

All given free, now if they'd put in those that weren't..

Does anyone actually buy their crap? At least their "weekly" bundle is worth a good laugh every 2-3 days or so though.

I heard about someone who witnessed a conversation where they talked about someone, who was excommunicated by the Pope for buying a game from Blender developer.

But for real, I guess they get enough to earn back the 100usd steam direct entry, which is sad, life would be nicer if the steam direct fee would be at least 500, more preferably 1k USD.

Some actual good devs with nice games already struggle as it is, a lot of rotten apples just spoiling the rest of the fruit.

I believe, even with a higher entry fee, the games from good "devs" will struggle less if all the no effort and asset flip games would be gone. With 500usd entry probably those categories wouldn't exist anymore, can't believe it would be still profitable with that entry fee.

i don't have any data, still kinda unsure that an higher fee would translate in higher quality.
but that will surely translate into a fewer good dev staying out of Steam. imo, we really don't need that.

(don't know how much it is right now, but i've paid like 20 usd for Google Play (for personal pure fun) and Apple prices should be similar to Steam ones (iirc). and mobile gaming opportunities aren't that bad...)

well, perhaps the idea is wrong, not my job either to do something but purging this kind of "devs" whose releasing monthly 2-3 "awesome" games would help the real developers. I still check upcoming games but it is annoying to visit 40 store pages daily for nothing or just for 1-2 playable games.

Nono, the real problem is "devs" can generate infinite* keys, thus basically abusing the system.
The small-ish publisher fee is fine.

They cant generate infinite keys, not sure when that patch happened, but I believe it was already a year ago. There are some fix and the low number they can generate, a few thousands only (enough for one time bundle max if the game does not sell well on steam). Further key request approved based on the revenue the game makes on steam.

Oh, I'm afraid so... :( I buy all sorts of game-shaped garbage bundles if something's not already in my library. Not sure why. Fortunately it looks like I already own all of these things, so there's a buck saved. :)

I think nobody's playing the "games" in these bundles, just people hoping they turn into a cheap +1 some day. Maybe one of these "developers" will learn how to trick Steam's machine learning / low confidence / whatever and then woohoo, it's +1s for everyone... Yay.

Still, I would like to have the 2 chocolate games, but DIG doesn't support paypal directly.

have to put money in wallet first and pay €0.30 in fees if you don't add a fiver......

Guess I skip........
