Pre-Purchase King's Quest: Complete Collection on Steam

Old Sierra games are not my thing but this looks nice :)

40 €??? Seems like it'll be a five part episode adventure series (never heard of those before...) and those usually sell for 23 or 28 €. Adding 12/17 € on top of that just because you cling on a distant past seems a little much.

It may be a good pick for the 2016/17 Winter Sale. Yes, I know, with this attitude I will miss the Wallpaper Pack.

As much as I try to get into dark-souls-esque adventure point-and-click, I don't feel like wasting several hours on a single puzzle, perhaps one that doesn't even work coughMystfuckyoucough

I'm really interested in that game, but it's currently so so expensive, so I will just wait and wait and wait ._.

edit: I live in Brazil, we are not supposed to have the most expensive region price of a game, please someone one tell that to devs ._.

Well, everybody can tell you, what you get for pre-ordering a game . I myself have been trying to prove it wrong over the past years, but seeing how PC games fail to be in playable state on release day I might join the camp of Non-Pre-Orderers. Of course I will always have games that I'm excited about, but not going to give any money for them before seeing the final reviewed product. And since this is an episodic game everybody knows that it will take at least a year, until they finish the whole story, but by then the game's price will drop like crazy. There can be exceptions, only if the game's quality is amazing, but there aren't many examples. I bought Tales from the Borderlands almost on release day, and still we only have 3 episodes out of 5, but I don't care, because that game is fantastic. Every episode is a small unit of fun and awesomeness. But still, these units are really small (1.5/2 hours long) and after the end you have to wait a lot until they release the next chapter.

I will be buying this regardless of reviews. King's Quest has a special place in my heart. I've said it before and I'll say it again; I'm a sucker for nostalgic purchases. I will not be pre-ordering, though. Especially with episodic releases. I'll wait until the whole thing is released.

I won't prepurchase anything so no. But it looks purdy and I'm a fan of the original series so I might find it on my to do list if it gets decent reviews and gets bundled with Steam versions of the originals.

hmmm hmmm i loved the orignal series.....and just a new generation with new techonolgy does not mean better, so i wait for user-reviews in the future

Looks not bad, but obviously not for 40€ lol, even Trine 3 doesn't cost that.

I've had enough with pre-orders. I wish I didn't buy that stupid Civ: Beyond Earth.

I'll wait for a sale, like I do with most games :D.
