Me too. But their discounts are generally not good in my humble opinion.
Also i feel like they ripped me off, because after i bought vanilla Skyrim for $20 on Summer Sales 2013 (which means 44 bucks in my country), they discounted even more than before on QuakeCon 2013 sales. And then, they discounted Legendary Edition a few times to $20. That was frustrating.

They didn't rip you off, you jumped the gun. That's how sales go. The longer you wait, the cheaper it'll be. The downside to cheapness is you have to wait longer to get the game.

I don't agree with you. Generally i'm waiting for better sales, but i didn't expect QuakeCon thingy. In the end that was Summer sales! Also waited until the very last day of sales, nothing happened good because they just wanted to palm off their recent Legendary Edition crap with a poor discount.
I was waiting to buy since it's release, i never ever pirated it as well.

I really wanted this, too bad I have to wait until Monday to charge my Visa (I'm only eligible for debit cart). It's my first Steam sale, but I plan on getting Skyrim, Tomb Raider, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and mostly a bit older games from my wishlist that might be 75% off. Already put $100 aside just for the sale.

Thief was free on AMD rewards, so it IS possible to get preorder games discounted or for free. I doubt it'll happen with GTA V, though.

Honestly, with the size of my backlog on Steam alone (my console backlog is pretty impressive as well), I'm not even going to consider anything less than 75% off. And considering a sizable chunk of my Wishlist are games that could likely end up as a bundle before I'd get around to playing them, I'll probably only purchase things for +80% off or games that likely won't get bundled (Ys series, Lucasarts games, etc). Although, I'm a realist and I'll likely buy some other crap just because its on sale and I'm a sucker.

If it's on my wishlist and it's over 70% off. But I am terrible at buying games and not playing them for ages. I am also terrible at not buying games I really want to play now because it 'might' be in a bundle one day. So this sale I made a list of MUST have things.
