I still prefer the old ones. I got a N64 and a Snes, and they are both better then any new gen console. Just saying.

My whittling stick also provides hours more entertainment and doesn't try to make me buy DLC

Sony are good to me. Their games actually drop in price here. Not so with Nintendo, and Microsoft, well they just don't like my country.

Now all the Wii U needs is some exclusives and not more stupid ports.

Pretty much this. The Sonic ones are a good start. Nintendo bringing out the next Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros. ,3D Mario & Zelda will help as well. Then there's the new Monolith Soft game (creators of Xenoblade) & Bayonetta 2. But it does still need more exclusives, especially 3rd party ones.

Crappy hardware holds the Wii U back, as well as lack of games. The xbone is laughable and the PS4 still has to prove itself before I find it a viable purchase as well. This gen looks like crap so far, good thing there's still pc gaming.

Nintendo have gone with cheaper hardware for a while. Their Gamecube was the last system to be more powerful than competition.

Yeah, but the Wii focused motion controls and the Wii U's focus is on the gamepad.

And I consider the Wii control system to be annoying at best. I own a Wii, and love most of the games I own, but 'innovation' has limited the library of third party titles.

I'm hoping the Wii-U doesn't have that problem, but the lesser hardware isn't helping draw in development of up to date titles.

I think the Wii controller is amazing. Not having both hands tied to one controller is genius mixed with some excellent games that used the motion controls like Skyward Sword, but I can see as why people don't like it.

I won't deny it is great for some games, I love it for light gun titles. Its mostly because of the limitations it placed on receiving standard titles. Sure, you got some stuff using the Classic Controller, but not everything.

I'd buy an Xbox One of PS4 (Or even a Wii U), if I ever thought prices would drop below US $80 for a game here (Mexico).

In the UK, all I had to do was wait 4 weeks and a game was almost £10/$15 brand new.
