Before releasing a game is there any legal issues I need to cover? I know absolutely nothing regarding the legal procedures it takes to release a game.

I know it's not the best forum to ask this type of question but there might be someone who can answer it here.

Do you own all the assets and the tools in which you made the game ?

You really do not have to buy it.

If I'll be getting money from the game and adobe knows (which they can easily do) that I didn't license my adobe product it would give them opportunity to make a lawsuit on me, and what company would miss such an opportunity.

It's more costly to track you down than the amount that they would win in a lawsuit. But still, it's more fair to buy Flash already.

No one would be able to tell if your game was built in a legit version of Flash or not.

Adobe can easily and and inquire about my license.

EDIT: and why risk in the first place anyway.

I made the game using flash, do I need to include adobe in credits?

EDIT: And do I need a lawyer to copyright the game? can't I do it without one? And when I copyright it in my country it's a valid copyright internationally?

In any country outside the U.S., the copyright comes into existence (and is held by you) the moment the work is created, i.e. I'm situated in Germany, I hold the copyright on the content of this post, you're allowed to quote it in your post, but you're not allowed to claim the contents of this post as your own or as having been created by you. It would be exactly the same thing if I wrote a book or made a game.

The U.S. is different though, in that a fair amount of legal loopholes exist which could see someone ripping off your work.

What you should do next:

Check Wikipedia for links to the appropriate organisations and read up on the different international agreements with regards to copyright. You'll be able to look up your specific country and which international copyright agreements it has signed.

Their are 0 hurtles to releasing a game. If you want to charge money there are hurtles to accepting money for a product.

If you're going to be making money from the game then you will have to pay taxes, and depending on your country that might require you to register with various authorities.

Legally, assuming you're using tools, code and assets according to their licenses (or have created all the code and assets yourself) then you shouldn't have a problem.
