Dishonored DLC question

Some days ago, a friend gifted me a copy of Dishonored. He's from the U.S.
I want to buy one of the Dishonored DLCs later. I'm from Czech Republic, meaning the copy I own (the one I got as a gift) is a different language version than the one I see in Steam Store.

If I buy the DLC, will it work?
I'm a bit confused about the language versions of the game, since they have separate Community Hubs and whatnot... O.o
