I've had that happen to me before - after restarting my computer everything was fine - it might be your soundcard acting up.

Cheap (~$20) sound cards are well worth it.

When I use the headphone jack on the front of my computer, I hear the static noise on all the headphones that I've tried. idk what causes it, I just ignore it after a while. lol

Hello, I got three things to say.

  1. It's not baught, it's bought.
  2. Are they USB or 3.5mm?
  3. What sound card do you have and what drivers are you using?

If you plug in the headphone jack in the front of your PC it's the sound from your HDD, just put it in the back your PC. Sorry if my english was bad :p

So you baught sennheiser headphones and they are making static voices? Voices? Did you catch the language in which they communicate or they just grunt? Do they sound like a male or a female?

On topic: The sounds you hear are from the computer, they are probably of low intensity. You need to try them on another computer and you will hear the same "voices", maybe at a lower or higher intensity, caused by different actions you perform on the computer or by the same one. You can try buying one super expensive audio card for your computer if you care so much.

You can also try plugging your headphones in the back of your computer directly if in the first case you didn't.

There is obviously a spirit trapped in the shell of your headphones. First you need a medium to contact this tormented soul β€” not a small or a large, mind you. It needs to be a medium.

That could be a problem with the energy power and the audio receptor (soundcard or headphones) Try to raise the volume up or down and check if it dissapears.

Good luck :)
