It's been a while since I made a GA (Sparkle ZERO doesn´t count since was private). Today be my guest :)

There is a little train Lvl 3 and a reminder of one of my favorites games. I learned english with this game and It gave me a lot fun, sad and good memories.

How many of you played this game (The game in the jigidi)? I want to read your opinions about the game in the comment section. The poll is to make me an idea with concrete numbers.

Thank you for the giveaways!
Sadly, no, I never owned most of the console systems and hadn't actually even heard of this one!

If you like JRPG this a great game. You can play it in your phone

Does that actually make for a good experience? If I recall correctly, doesn't the combat rely on proper timing? I can't imagine that works well on a smartphone's touch screen.

In my experience, I found that the combat timing works well. Sure, If you use a control It will be easier but It can be done with touch screen.

Mostly based on self reflection, but yes, damn hard to think of a time when used 386´s were dead, you´ve got your first Mofa and suddenly all your friends had Playstations, you were bound to get in contact and want one aswell!

Then again, Pokemon Red would be the least undesirable game one had´nt played, so thumbs up for you all the way!
I´ve only played Pokemon 10 years after it´s initial success (same as morrowind) and was like "damn, how did you miss that one" :D

The funny thing about that is pretty much all my friends until graduation were pc players (yes they owned consoles too and when we were together at theirs we'd play some console games like mario party, driver, smash brothers and about a dozen I don't remember on the fly).
Only pokemon was something everyone played so that was the only time I had a desire to get that.

First time I really encountered pretty much console-players only was in school during the dual education system for the job.
That's where I also encountered the myth that pc-gaming is "oh so much more expensive than having a console" (while they shell out 60€+ for each game that I'd get for a fraction of the price....)

Other than that I always preferred mouse+ keyboard to controller so never was too fond of getting a console.

You´re a wee bit younger (or older?) it seems. Killer games of my time clearly were Tony Hawks Pro Skater, MGS1, Gran Turismo 1 and Final Fantasy 7 ... anyone not playing those was pretty much conisdered non existant.

The absolute never returning, non-caring, fun-ridden times! :)

PS: Although all of the non-caring has had it´s bitter backlash! :E

Besides the then new (in 1997) Anno 1602 and older (mini-)games like Frogger, Lands of Lore, Lords of the Realm, Pushover, Lemmings (whatever games all our parents had) at that time it was still the time where we were playing Magic Cards and stuff like that.

I really started gaming and had my first pc around 2000 with Fallout II, Deus Ex, Diablo II, UT, Quake III Arena (still can't believe that we actually convinced our IT-teacher in school and had demos of both UT and QIII on the pcs installed and were allowed to play it in breaks every other day - mind you we were ~15 at that time and at least QIII was on the "index" and prohibited for minors^^) and in Internet Cafes Counter Strike.

Getting to play FO2 when it was hot must´ve been fantastic! Somehow console gaming took that away from me, i only made it back to PC a year later or so when Operation Flashpoint got released. Pretty hard wagering Final Fantasy 7 memories against those supposedly hidden in FO2 - guess i´ll find out one day (which will be known as the great backloggening).

Your IT teacher must´ve rocked! Bet you did´nt tell him about the indexed status of those educational programs :p

I have played it and enjoyed it.
I liked the addition system, although it was a pain at times, never going to forget this one. :P
The fixed inventory space meant making choices for items, since those were important for healing.

I played it up until the second disc. It was my favorite playstation game, and it evokes more nostalgia than FFVII.

I've heard great things about this game, but never played it myself. I never owned a Playstation console - I didn't own any game console between the original NES and the PS2, and the latter I got very late in its lifetime. I did hear my friends praising the game. I think I actually got a copy of it from a friend, which should technically work on my PS2 - I haven't fired that up in ages. Though at this point, maybe an emulator would be the best way to go, but I don't know how well the game has even held up.

Bump for solved. I never own an console except for the Famicon, so haven't played that game. I did use emulator to play a bunch of GB/GBA/NDS games, though.

OH man! i loved the Game!
it was my very first RPG which brought me to love the genre. funny thing is my english was absolutely disgusting back then, so i understood nearly nothing, but i learned the language quite good by just playing it. lol

still dunno how to beat that lyot guy though guess it has something to do with all the stardust hidden everywhere?

jigidi wouldnt give me the link but thank you very much for good old childhood memories. :D
fixed it by redoing it in the obviously not so useless intenet explorer. ^^
