Humble Monthly Question

I was trying to buy the monthly subscription on humble bundle but when I get to the check out part, and after logging in on paypal, it asks me to introduce some credit card info. My funds on paypal come from OPskins and I've never had, and never will, a linked credit card to my paypal account. Is it really necessary or am I getting some sort of a bug? Does anyone know if I can bypass it or am I doomed and wont be able to get the monthly?

It is required to have a verified Paypal before you can subscribe. And no, you can't bypass it.
