I...don't know how you got 7 without knowing what the quiz is about, that's quite the lucky guess. And the whole point is that this quiz is going to stump you a little if you don't know what the quiz is about, but becomes much easier once you figure out the common theme. I did something similar in my last puzzle.
There's also a hint hidden where you'd least expect it, and one of the actual hints will more or less give it away, so you've at least got a fighting chance.

By the way, the specific reason it was "eww" was because the intended answer was human skin. I also accepted skin, tattoo, and tattoo on the back though. But yeah, you rub some oil on the poor sunbather's back, let him roast in the sun, then peel off his skin.

So there's an hour and a half left in the GA now. If people are still having trouble in another half hour, I'll start dropping hints here and answering questions. As of right now we have 42 players and not a single solver, and the early birds should have gotten their hints by now.

Yeah, it'd be nice if they put out a new version, especially since they could open it up to console players like they did with the first two games. Fortunately though it's much more modern than the previous two games and even has voice acting already in it. I think the art's even fine as-is (to be honest I didn't like the redone art in the first two all that much), though it could stand to be redrawn in HD with some anti-aliasing thrown in.

Ah, ok. I did know it was Pollo Diablo and eventually guessed it was something that he got knocked out with but couldn't find what that specific thing was thru Google - all the places I looked just said he got knocked out unconscious but not how. And I didn't look at any videos which in hindsight, seeing your link, was a mistake.
