Maybe they're just stalling until the next gen. of consoles is released, with the rumors of ps4 being announced soon this is the first thing that comes to mind.
Obviously they cannot claim that it's for a new console until it has been officially announced.

feels like a repeat of gears of war 3 b/c my birthday is on the 10th. i wanted gears 3 but had to wait until 18th to get it now i want GTA V and it comes out on the 17 it may be 1 day less but developers could you pls release the game on my birthday for ones.

Saints row was at least fun how gta used to be. Now all gta is is a dry gray derivative of what it once was. The franchise peaked with vice city.
That said, now that deep silver owns the saints row franchise, we can pretty much write it off sadly.

say thanks to consoles that steals PC games from PC, and delay them. how should it really be: all games should be on PC (because PC makes all games in the world we know), not only for 6 year old tech on console

Bought it for PC when it came for PC, bad optimization for not multi core processors and made for the next gen of PC hardware, but even setting the game at the same level of consoles was less optimized.
First and only game I paid full prize for (50 €). Also bought GTA Complete pack (all GTA to date) when discounted on steam, and still waiting for Red Dead Redemtion for PC, which, if ever made, will come in a no foreseeable future. That, and knowing that all new rockstar games include the famous Game Shield alongside all the other things needed for GTA IV (maybe steam now is also required for their newer titles after GTA IV, but I'm not sure about this) made me took the decision of not buying any other title from rockstar until they release RRD for PC.
That said, I just wanted to let people know that not everyone pirated GTA IV for PC, but yeah, I still feel excluded just because I'm PC player, like most of us I assume, and I don't like being treated like trash just because PC is more open ended than consoles.
