It's the birthday of Gunpei Yokoi today, the man who invented the gameboy. He would have been 73, but unfortunately passed away 17 years ago.

I haven't played a proper Gameboy for years, but I have got some emulators on my PSP.

The GBA is, objectively, a better design. Why are you asking us if you should get the GBA if you're just going to say you disagree every time? The Gameboy and Gameboy color might be aesthetically more pleasing (if you just want to leave the thing on a shelf and look at it), but the GBA is better designed. It fits in a smaller space, has a better screen (particularly in the light) and can play more games.

I think buying the GBA would be nice.
