Oh god yes, bought it full price, have 100 hours played and still have stuff to do.

The votes say no, but the comments say yes. Interesting.

I entered No , the game is great but I have a lot of games that I didn't play and could have bought it with 12 Eur so 20 $ is not a deal for me :D .

It looks like a good game but still my rule is no more than $20 unless its a game I'm going to play immediately. Plus I don't like the idea of paying that much for an incomplete game. Plus I'm Canadian so the currency conversion sucks for us.

okay here's the thing (story time)
A few years ago I bough my laptop and this game came with it as a promotion right (msi thingy)
but I waited a week (or two) before trying to activate it and it was too late because apparently there was a limited number of keys or something
so at this point even though I want to play the game I can't bring myself to buy it :/
even though it looks fun and I would probably pay 27 CAD for it in a different situation It hurts me whenever I think of spending money for something I almost already got.

Call me crazy or not, but I am not someone who uses credit cards on the Internet because of data breaches so I resort to using Steam wallet cards.
Target and Home Depot are two examples.

You aren't responsible for charges on your credit card that you don't authorize. Happened to my parents a few weeks ago, just a phone call and then a few days for new cards to arrive in the mail. Also that Home Depot breach was in their POS(the machines that you swipe your card on in the store) and your far more likely to have your credit card skimmed by your waitress or at a gas station pump than for it to be stolen from legitimate online retailers.
Debit cards on the other hand are evil, I advise cutting them up as soon as you get them if you can avoid spending cash enough for $40 to last a month so it isn't to inconvenient doing withdrawals at the teller once a month. Either way never use them except for direct withdrawals at your banks ATM.

I paid full price for it and haven't regretted it at all, but then again I am a big MGS fan so it is to be expected that I would buy it regardless of price, but I think for 20 is a sick of a deal.
Also is this just the base game, or is this the definitive experience as well? since unless you already own it you may want to either get it or rent ground zeros so some stuff that may appear from ground zeros wouldn't be unknown to you? or I guess you could always watch a walkthrough of ground zeros to get the jist of the story?

I pretty much watched a walk through for Ground Zeroes.

Originally for me I had a friend who owned ground zeros so I was able to play it and beat it with him when ground zeros first came out, but then I think it was maybe the summer before MGSV released ground zeros was on sale for like under $5 and then I decided to buy it then so I could play it and get ready for when MGSV would release in a few months.

I make of point of rarely spending more than10-15€ on a single game but I'd definitely say that it's worth the $20. It's one of the tightest modern gameplay experiences out there. Story's kinda loose but if you can get past that it's an amazing experience

I would pay $60 for the game. But have shitty pc, and played it on PS3 (shit quality, but I've played it :B)

Same here, but I got it on my PS4. I got it on that instead of pc, because I've been a fan of the MGS series ever since MGS 1 on my PS1, and so figured it made sense to get it on my PS4.
Getting it for 20$ is a good deal, but like I said before with being an avid fan of the MGS series I would have gotten it regardless of the price and so far haven't regretted my purchase, and since I already own the digital copy of Ground Zeros and a disk copy of MGSV I have no reason I guess to buy the definitive experience but I think the DE (definitive experience) could be worth it for those that haven't yet purchased MGSV and or ground zeroes and can get the full story in one easy disk/digital format.

Still waiting for at least the Gamecube version remaster.

Yeah, if I didn't own it, it would be worth that. It took 10 hours to get good, but then had a solid 30 hours of some of the best open world gameplay I've ever experienced. A great blend of collection, stealth, and strategy.

Of course. I watched a stream of it(PC version), and it's got some amazing quality to it. Who cares if it got some cut content. Fallout 2 is in the same boat and that's a great game by itself.

I bought the regular version because I already watched a whole play through on Ground Zeroes and not interested in the multiplayer bit.
