Bummer. The only Sherlock games I need are Crimes and Punishments & The Hound of the Baskervilles, but that's a bit steep for one game.

people who like these kind of games, will love it, its a great bundle for them. just try to be more emphatic for fuck sake. they could say the same thing when there was origin,thq and deep silver bundle. you have to look at who are those games for. its not for you, so why are you commenting it? why are you even here? you are not the target of this bundle. so please STFU. thank you

As some of you are saying this is a really great deal for someone wanting to pick up the Sherlock Holmes collection, like myself. Just bought the 9 dollar tier. Really into Victorian England and point n' click so this is right up my alley. Brilliant bundle.

Woot Holmes collection! I would choose this over a rebundle of Origin or Warner Bros any day.

Many (well, according to the comments, the majority) people don't know one thing: Steam summer sale is running actually. Yeah, that's crazy, right ?
Humble has probably got many difficulties to find a dev/publisher who wanted to run a bundle in this specific period... who would sell 4 games (7 games in this case, but whatever, it's the average number of games available in the $1 tier usually) for $1 when you can sell each of your game for $2-3 on Steam ?
It's not the best bundle, but they are offering a bundle in the worst period of the year for selling bundles, so we should not complain this time.

Nice for Holmes fans, but... they may have these games already :P

I'm just going to put the idiots in this thread on my blacklist. The fact that some people think they're entitled to receive triple AAA games for dirt cheap prices is pathetic and makes you look like a leech.

Adventures of Sherlock games were okay. Pretty casual, though. And that price is a wee bit steep. Picked up a box set of 6 of them for $10 several years ago. And so, I also got a box!

But then, I suppose $10 is also the price Steam sells a 6-pack of them for on sale, too.

Well, I got them in the Groupees bundle a while ago, and played some of them. Some of these have extra niceties not present in the original versions (puzzles are less obtuse, very nice in-game hints available, etc.). Some impressions (note: I tend to like point-and-click adventures, which are good to play with dear missus in the living room):

1. The Mystery of the Mummy (2003) was awful. Bad acting, bad gameplay, bad puzzles. 26/100.
2. Journey to the Center of the Earth (2003) starts promisingly, but it gets irritating soon (why do I have to solve this puzzle YOUR way?). A couple of bugs made this almost unplayable towards the end, and some puzzles make no sense to me (maybe because of bugs). 36/100.
3. Secret of Silver Earring (2004) was quite ok. Some bad pixel-hunt puzzles, stiff animations, but fair, true-to-character writing. 55/100.
4. The Awakened (2007) was quite good! Playing in 3D is more immersive, but you can switch to a pure point-and-click interface whenever you want. Some great Cthulhu-like scary moments there! Acting gets better, characterizations are better, environments are varied. 72/100. (It would be more, but I was stupid and never realized there was a "show objects" button! DOH!)
5. Nemesis / Arsene Lupin (2007) was good. The dialogue is getting even better, the puzzles too (though slightly contrived)! It would be better than The Awakened, but I hated their writing of Watson, it was irritating. 72/100.
6. The Mystery of the Persian Carpet (2008) was a hidden object casual cash grab, using assets from other games. At least it was short. Move along. 50/100.

We are still to play the others (Jack the Ripper; Hound of the Baskervilles; Draculas; Magrunner). But I think I can state it is a very good bundle, despite some misfires. VERY GOOD VALUE for your money, if you are into point-and-click adventure games, of course.
