Do you feel guilty for not giving some of your games the attention they deserve?
Definitely feel guilty at my backlog.
Its why I've started entering fewer giveaways... Not that you can really tell based on my stats.
As soon as I finish a project I've been working on... I look forward to dedicating that time to catching up...

Thanks for the technoinquisitor, I will try my luck with that game.
I have voted yes. Specially at the beginning, entered in a lot of games. Sometimes because I wanted them (but, at the end never played them or barely touch them) and other times because I feel obligated to entry (like... Oh, this guy whitelisted me and he only has 3 entries, I need to help him reach 5)...
2nd choice backfired me. I wont a lot of games I didn't even want. I was a noob and didn't know I could ask for a reroll. I feel guilty and stupid. Since then I try to enter in games I'm really interested and games I know I will play sooner or later (mosthy my whishlist).
There is also a lot of games I have played (and play) offline so there is no achievements or time, but I (personally at least) know I'm having a good time.
I have never been told and/or nobody came to me and accused me of being a selfish prick and not playing, so I guess I'm doing it right. I hope, at least.

Phaha, yeah, I see where it could backfire xD even when it was a good intention.
Well, neither was I told I am doin' something wrong. Just felt like it.
Ah, forgot to say you are welcome and wish you good luck winning that Technomancer! ;)

RPG= Really Procrastinating in Game. People can easily spend hundreds and thousands of hours in most any RPG. Hell, I saw some dude has 15,000+ hours on Skyrim. Game is only six years old. There's 8,760 hours in a year. That's literally almost 2 full years worth of gameplay. Even if he started playing the day it came out, he's spent at least 1/3 of the last 6 years playing Skyrim! And the crazy part? Even that son of a bitch isn't close to beating Skyrim 100%
As long as you plan to at least try every game you own for 5 minutes, you're already doing much better than most other SG users. But yeah, I really admire users who only enter what they want to play (or at least try). Wonderful philosophy!
Thank you for the train. And may you win many more awesome games, and feel the joy of giving to others!

Hahahahaha dat RPG definition! You know my hours in Fallout 4 and yet how very few main quests I've played xD
So that definition is absolutely correct! :D
Totally, man! And thanks for the kind wishes, I wish nothing less upon you! :)
As for the Skyrim part, see... that - I hate. Dude must have left the game on and went about his business a lot. I don't like doing that at all xD

Hello all,
this is your Inquisitor! Settle down, I am not here to prosecute you, instead, I am here to prosecute ME!
There comes a time when we realize we have so little time, yet so many games; so many games we haven't even touched yet, or there is a time when that particular thought is always on our mind, all the time... That is what happened to me.
Now, some will say how there is no such thing as "too many games", with which I wholeheartedly agree, but I am not saying there is too many games, I am saying that I have too many games.
I've been winning on SG, winning elsewhere, heck recently I won four games in just three days from different sources of giveaways! And I've come to a realization... I am hooked on winning!
Winning makes me feel great, and something about having games, knowing they are in our library, is inexplicably present with us all (especially during some nasty sales!) Oooooh, Imma buy this sucka, been wanting this game since forever, now I'll have it and I will play it sometimes...
Now, don't get me wrong, I've never entered a GA without an intention to play the game eventually , at least try it out, but it all lead to a situation where I cannot play the won game in the next two or three months, sometimes even more! Plus, I love RPG games, so imagine how much time a won game has to wait now that I have Fallout 4 or Baldur's Gate or... you get the picture :) I don't want to merely fire up the won game only to rack up some minutes so that the GA holder can see that I've played it, I want to enjoy it to its fullest, because that's why I've entered his GA in the first place!
It's hard to resist a great sale and a great GA with very few entries! ;)
I've come to a situation where I'd hop from a game to another game and not beat any of them. I do enjoy them but it frustrates me that I don't finish them if I already like them! And I started thinkin' how it was back in the day when I didn't have money, nor I had internet... I had a lot less games, hell you could count them on your fingers, and I'd beat them - one by one...
Therefore, I have decided to cut back on entries, A LOT, and only enter new AAA games that I won't be able to afford in the next years and maybe some rare gems xD But mostly - to catch up with all my games, all of them that I want to play, that I want to beat!
Some of you already practice this and some of you don't. And I admire most the philosophy of "only take what you need"
Thanks to anyone who read my little rambling right here and thanks to everyone who is still reading to this point :D
Now, as promised, a humble little train...
The Giveback train (#firstworldproblem train)
