A free AAA-title at full price because you lost a savegame due to a bug? I don't know any company that would do that

Which one, for example? I never heard of anything like this

These weren't AAA-titles imho, and the downtime wasn't even the problem. The problem was that personal data was not encrypted and was stolen, which is a massively worse case than a simple savegame-bug

I've got InFamous, Little Big Planet (I think these titles are very good, maybe AAA) and PS Plus free for one month (if I remember correct). I think Sony did it right :)
Btw, the data was not stolen as I remember. They just wanted all the users to change their password just in case.
P.S. There were some attack on battlelog for two weeks. Maybe this is the result... nobody knows anything so far ;)

That link makes me want to buy a dictionary for everyone or mandatory spell check.

The problem
So, I guess many of you here were affected by this? Well, me as well :) Hope DICE will fix it very soon.
P.S. It would be nice to receive a free copy of BF4 as an excusement for all the people who were affected. But hey, this is EA, so... :)
