Read the FAQ, it says how it works.

There are chances you could win from your first entry as well as enter like 2000 times and not win anything.

In the latter case, try applying for the Steam Losers community group, i.e S.Losers.

Let's put it this way: if every giveaway you enter has 999 other people entering it, then after 700 entries there is a 49.6% chance that you wouldn't have won a single giveaway.

You'll find we have this fair system, where people who joined a month ago and contributed nothing to the community who then complains on the forums about not winning, have a 0% chance of winning.

Even public giveaways with 4000 entries have a winner and even private ones with 2 have a loser.

i have entered 154 and won 2

almnost 700 without public win. I just hate to see when someone with less than 50 wins and probably never plays the game. But ehh, luck, just be thankful to those who give.

Generally speaking, your chances now are no better than when you entered your first giveaway. Go and read Greg Egan: Into Darkness. It's sci-fi, it's good, and it also happens to explain this.

well think of this :

1 person entering = 100% chance of winning.

2 person entering = 50% chance of winning.

100 person entering = 1% chance of winning.

so i guess it's all depends on each person luck at that moment.
