I saw an ad somewhere here on steamgifts saying that Mirror's Edge is $5 on Impulse. If I get it there, can it be activated on Steam? I'm pretty sure it's a Steamworks title.

Edit: No, it's not. However, my general question still stands.

Mh, SecuROM.
From what I've read the Steam version doesn't have it, so I'm pretty sure this one can't be activated there.
Besides, if you manage to find a trusted EuroSteamer you could get it for 2.50€ (~3$?) next time it gets 75% off. It's one of the few games less expensive on our store. Good one too.
...but then again, Max Payne 2 (and obviously Max Payne Collection) isn't even available here, FFS. =D

Yeah, i noticed that after I actually checked; they wouldn't need an activation limit if it's on Steam.

The Big Steam DRM List says that you still need an EA account though.

Not a Steamworks game, can't be activated on Steam, only Origin. General question still stands...that's the only question you asked xD

"Are Impulse purchases activatable on Steam?"
The general question's probably in the thread title, and has already been answered by Technomancer with his example.
...but where did you see mention of Origin? Just curious. :D
