The only thing on my mind is how I wish I grew up in a household with at least one pet (dog or cat). They're pretty awesome.

Pretty irrelevant story, but one of the pets my family owned left me a bit traumatized...
My family's second pet was a hamster, she had babies, which we kept one of and gave the rest away, not too long after that the baby disappeared (or we think it was the baby) and the other was in some creepy cocoon (I'm really not sure what it was) or something. I was like 5 then, but I remember running downstairs in the morning to play with them, but finding them dead...
We always joked that the mom ate her baby, but I still don't know what really happened...

It's been three months since I adopted a kitten off the streets. Yeah, a "kitten". My mom and I spent one hour trying to get him out of the car (the engine was warm so he hid there) and guess what? Turns out it's not a cat, it's a meerkat! Dunno what to do now, I love him but I have no idea how to take care of a meerkat. Any advice? :(
