Geography time! This should be quite easy but hopefully not too easy.

  2. Population is 35,928,467, capital starts with R
  3. The most beautiful sight in the world after a bad winter, and covers most of the earth. 3 letters.
  4. Third number in question #2
  5. Independence from the United Kingdom in 31st of August 1957 , capital starts with K

You want the name of the countries, the first letter of the name. Incase it wasn't obvious or clear enough 3 and 4 have nothing to do with countries, 3 is still geography and 4 is just a free number.
