Just checked, no email.
Doing a search on google, this post from gamefaqs pops up with slightly more info then what's in the OP:
"They sent out a survey to current subscribers and asked like 40 questions about price and feature levels and basically IGN has a plan to change Humble Monthly into two tiers Regular and Premium.
Regular would be priced at $10 per month and would get fewer games overall and no access to Humble Trove or discount in Humble Store
Premium would be priced at $15 to $20 per month, you'll get to pick from a list of games, access to Humble Trove, and discount in Humble Store. "
I kind of like the idea of being able to pick the games you want from a larger list, but $20 would be more then I've ever paid on a bundle...

I'm 1.5 year + subscriber... No email here (~9 more month left until next subscription)

I don't think I'd pay $20 but $15 would be doable if pick and trading options were available. But based on nothing at all, half the people buy for early unlock so $10 regular might be the easier choice... Trading would be amazing though, with the new paypal international fees coming almost everywhere.
Definitely don't care about Humble Trove, the 10% store discount is nice but I don't buy anywhere enough to make the discount significant. I guess if you really wanted to buy games during winter/summer sales, to get premium monthly during that month for it.

What's the point of new exchanging system if you can just trade games as either Steam keys or gift links? Unless they plan to remove though which is rather doubtful (in the nearest future at least).

Ah, okay, I was wondering if a thread would ever pop up about this (I dislike making threads myself).
I think I'm starting to let comments on the forums get to my head, because the first thing I thought when I realized they wanted to raise the price was "I wonder if IGN has a hand in this." :P

I have little faith in the corporate machine, having been a part of it in the past.
They're going to screw you for more money and give you less any time they can. Nature of the beast, I guess.
There was very little in the survey about game quality, IIRC - only a couple cursory questions about what you value most about Humble Monthly. Most of the survey seemed like it was feeling out at what price-point consumers would not buy the bundle.

They are probably probing the opinions about this and the market with some incentives. :-)

No survey here, currently subscribed too; though only reoccurring, only once paid early, and pause-a-month on occasion.
Perhaps, if included a $5 specific incentive (at some stage?), then may have only been sent to US customers?

Same for crowflower, the service they use for tasks.
Good things go, but there is market in being second, im sure Fanatical would get better and more popular, and services like TG and Crowdflower already exist, heard amazon also has one

For many years, the user Ruby as been the only mod to offer support and we ear from her less and less. issues that are not discussed by any moderators, they also seem to be blocked from mass purchasing out of several bundle sites, most offers walls dont even work from where i am.
i mean, if you have been there for awhile, its easier to find decent work. but the overall quality in games, offers, and support as been decreasing.

A survey only for those that dropped their subscription, but not to those satisfied and subscribed. Yeah, thats fair and not shady at all, Im sure the responses will be proof enough that changing the monthly is the best thing to do.

I'm guessing (and only guessing) that they sent out the surveys to all types of users-- longtime subscribers, recent cancellers, pick-and-choose monthly subscribers, etc. I mean, why wouldn't they want to hear from all types? I don't know why they'd specifically NOT ask for feedback from longtime subscribers.
PS: I've been subbed since the beginning except for one recently paused month (which I regretted).

That would be an interesting poll to start. (would give my opinion if the poll leans towards a certain side)
-subscribed, didnt receive survey
-Subscribed, received survey
-unsub...

Some of Humble subscribers will receive this email offering them to take part in a survey about Humble Premium. The questions suggest that there will be a new "tier" of Monthly bundles with more games for some extra bucks per month (up to $20). Additionally Premium bundle owners might have an option to trade games (probably similar to Indie Gala trade option) or an option to choose unlocks from a monthly predefined list (like 5 out of available 10).
