no.. honestly... good furniture will make you appreciate it. it might be cheaper to get everything from ikea.. but if a shelf/closet/couch really fits the place it will bring you more joy.. belive me, thats the wrong place to save some money! (and yes i know.. building alone costs alot..)

I'll make some of the furniture by myself. I know how to make decent wooden chairs and bookshelves, but I won't touch kitchen furniture, since it is too easy to screw up. Carpentry is my hobby and something my grandpa taught me years ago.
