WHile i agree the situation sucks and hope Valve takes note i also understand issues can happen and people overreacted to the situation, at least with the current information on the damage.

The histeria is ridiculous. The world will continue, most people wont be affected. You are in the system, you are in the internet, there are risks, you are constantly exposed, if you can't handle it then get the fuck out of the system, but people wont, because they are confortable in the system, so confortable that people start bitching and shouting because someone pressed the panic button. Yes, this should have not happened and people need to directly contact Steam in the available communication channels to make them know this is not cool, if you are really that concerned for your data in the future STOP USING STEAM INMEDIATLY.
Short version, stop the massive histeria, shit happened and Valve needs to know it. Stop using Steam if you are so concerned. Stop pretending you are all so offended when you don't know the real reach of the issue.

Either way, I wouldn't rush back into it. Just wait a little longer to make sure things are in the clear. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Valve somehow made it worse.

Not touching it till Steam gives the OK...then again Steam never told us there was an issue in the first place, we had to find out from other sources such as twitter, SteamDB, and even SteamGifts...idk what I'm going to do :(

Logging out and back into client is fine btw. In fact I had to do so in order for the store and profile pages to show correctly within the client.

Personally, I'll be waiting to do anything Steam-related until Valve releases an official statement. They have yet to say anything about the issue officially, and this is probably the worst time to be reliant on unverified third-party information.

If you can't login into browser, restart, log in into steam client, log in into browser.. at least that worked for me, I also couldn't log in into browser at first.
