First Steam started to forbid transactions under $0.50, now Humble are approaching a $10 minimum?

The key for Kao the Kangaroo: Anniversary Edition only activates the base game

they are giving a coupon for the DLC, so that makes sense

Still missing the artbook, sounttrack and "Oh! Well!" (that's appropate) DLCs.

But yeah, it didn't make much sense to include a coupon for the "Bend the Rooles" DLC when it's already part of the anniversary edition.

So you have separate keys for the DLCs? Or is it just false advertising that you get Anniversary Edition?

False advertising.

Looks like they have removed the "Anniversary Edition" label from the page now.

Support confirmed that they will not be replacing keys. And there is not much we can do about it unfortunately since we could have known that it was a mistake because of the included coupon for the DLC.

this is what they did with Control Ultimate Edition
you cant even buy the non UE on steam....

You can't buy the Anniversary Edition if you bought/redeemed the base game, but at least you can buy the separate DLCs (Soundtrack, Artbook, "Oh! Well" and "Bend the Rooles" -you can even use the included coupon for this one-). Another good example similar to Control UE would be Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo (Humble Amazing Adventures Bundle), which can't be upgraded to the DELUXE EDITION unless you remove the non-DE from your account and buy it again.

Does it make the situation less shitty? No.

I want tier 1 but $9 is kinda a crazy high price for a 1st tier of just 2 games.

Hard pass. I alteady own some of the games and it's too expensive. It's a shame because I love platformers.

Thinking about it, I only have a hat in time, so it could be a nice giveaway.

I am interested in 3 of them. A Hat in Time has been on my wishlist for awhile and 17 dollars is below what I was already thinking of paying for it. Definitely going to pick up this bundle.

Every time I see one of these bundle threads, I am happy that I started collecting games I wanted to play back in 2012 and feel sorry for anyone trying to start now. In the past this would have been $1 for tier 1, BTA average of around $5 to $8 for tier 2, and then around $12 for tier 3 since it is just 1 more game.

Awww man I saw the title and was hoping Here Comes Niko! would make an reappearance. Might still get the bundle for A Hat In Time tho, will have to think about it.

Ninja edit: wait what the **** is up with the pricing, nope I’m out.

T2 for $10 would have been a nice deal, but at 3.75 per (unowned) game I might as well just wait for a sale.

I already have Hat in Time, and I don't feel like I'd enjoy any of the others.
btw it's hard not to notice the tier pricings. Individual price of tier 2 or 3 is great, but seems like they pad this out by making tier 1 (on its own) pretty expensive. Like ... technically Hat in Time costs less than half of the games in tier 1.

Unlikely. Square won't do it, neither will NIS. So what remains would be those from Atlus/Sega and indies.

Sorry to ask but I don't know much about subs... Let's see if I understood it correctly:

This code redeems a package that contains:

New Super Lucky's Tale
Super Lucky's Tale
Super Lucky's Tale: Gilly Island
Super Lucky's Tale: Guardian Trials

BUT ...

Lucky's Tale (the VR game) is NOT included.

I only need Kao the Kangaroo, but the epic games give it away in May 2023.

All the games in the pack are real gems and if you like 3D platformers, you're going to enjoy them a lot, but I think $17 for them is pretty expensive.

New Super Lucky's Tale is it the bundle or because they gave game 2? (It gives both), a shame if it doesn't give the DLC but in the offers you can get them very cheap, although it seems very childish the DLC is very good and difficult.

It should include the DLCs, at least from what Tylarion reported.

Great for 3D platformer fans that want T3 and most other games. I already have Hat in Time with 2 of its DLC, and the only other one I might want is Kao the Kangaroo - So easy pass for me.

Disappointing that T3 only comes with Seal the Deal and not the metro one that's got positive instead of mixed reviews. Guess its a ploy for folks to buy the other DLCs...

at least its not the Vanessa DLC.

Three repeats and only The Spirit and the Mouse seems interesting enough among the rest. At least one bundle that won't tempt me, so good news. ;)

Find Tier 1 expensive, I understand a €1 Tier 1 would be low but €8,24 sounds like too much for the Tier 1 so I will skip this, but overall not a bad bundle if the Tier 1 was cheaper.

The definition of expensive nonsense.

it is not expensive. it is 2,22€ par game just less then a platinum collection

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It depends on what the user is after. A split of the bundle cost would probably look like this:

☐ A Hat in Time - 4.00 €
☐ New Super Lucky's Tale - 2.50 €
☐ Kao the Kangaroo - 2.50 €
☐ Hell Pie - 2.50 €
☐ The Spirit and the Mouse - 1.80 €
☐ A Hat in Time - Seal the Deal - 1.25 €
☐ Pumpkin Jack - 0.75 €
☐ Demon Turf - 0.25 €

So tier 1 is a bad deal, and one has to go for the higher tiers to make the bundle worth it.

A Hat in Time, Pumpkin Jack and Demon Turf was already bundled and already bundled games usually cost less

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Thanks, when you break it down like that its not so bad.
But Tier 1 by itself is a whopping $9 for two games. Some past bundles have been $10 for the entire bundle.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah the tiers are messed up. It's only worth going for T3 (even if you already own A Hat in Time), because A Hat in Time + the DLC is worth more than the $2 difference in tiers when splitting, and T1 isn't worth $9. Everything in the bundle is valued in the $3 range IMO, except for Demon Turf and Pumpkin Jack which are near worthless.

I think it would've been better to remove all of the repeats from the bundle entirely and make it one tier at $10, or remove Demon Turf + Pumpkin Jack and keep A Hat in Time and make it all one tier at $14. There was no need to make this bundle multiple tiers
