Max settings? No.
Will you run Far Cry 4? Not quite sure. Your CPU passes the bare minimum requirement, you have the minimum RAM, but your video card falls far flat.
tl;dr don't use a laptop to game, you'll get about twice the performance out of a desktop. This of course doesn't apply if you're going to college or something where you need to move your stuff back every break, and taking desktops on a plane isn't exactly optimal.

for gpu go for something like 850 atleast 860 or above will be better (or you can lok for one with 9 series GPU if its available there)....
ram at least 8gb(or 6gb or 4gb to updgrade to 8gb later)
+
because your playing on a low resolution (1366x768) most of games will run on everything maxed (with 850M and above) .....
i remember my brothers laptop (740m) back in the thay could easily handle crysis 3 everything maxed (asus k55VM)....
and to keep you laptop going the only thing you need is to put it on a flat surface all the time and clean internals each year (my brother uses his laptop for nearlly 724 gaming for about 2 years and it still works just fine i even remember some times he forget to turn it off and laptop was in gaming till next morning) .....

Dis is shit laptop for games, do not buy, and btw do not buy any laptop for games, buy a Gaming PC.
This laptop won't be able to run Far Cry 4 smoothly even at low settings, I doubt it will be able to run it smoothly even at 720p, unless you consider 30 fps smooth.

840M is terrible for gaming.
Find at least 860M or else you'll hardly play anything at medium.
Laptop manufacturers mostly upgrade CPU as much as possibly while not giving a f**k about GPU since they're costly. That's why I hate laptops and never use them for gaming.

The 840m is one of the worst in the 800m series (they recently released the 900 series which is now the best mobile series of GPUs). Try to get one with an 860m or 880m at the least. My 860m runs Far Cry 4 on medium-low settings (it still looks good) and runs older games at ultra (Fallout NV, Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed, TF2, Awesomenauts).

Don't mind about the retarded trolls saying gaming laptops sux, I bought one because I traveled a lot and I was very happy with it. Now, if you don't travel, there's no reason to go for a laptop instead of a desktop. This one of your description doesn't look very appealing to me, I bought mine 3 years ago and it has better specs (apart from the graphics card), so I recommend searching better options.
