So I gave some stuff away and my points stayed at $30 because they're from bundles.

My question: If I give away non-bundle stuff do I get those bundle points back later or are they lost forever?

Don't link me to the various FAQs, I already read them and the little equations too. I AM TOO STUPID to understand them and need the answer here to my specific question.

Seacrest, out.

30$ comes from 25$ whitelisted and 20% of whitelisted CV.

So if you have given away for example 50$ of bundle games so far you are at 30$ with 20$ bundled CV "stored". For every non bundled 5$ you give away now you get 1$ transfered from the bundled CV pool to the total CV.

For example you had 50$ so far (30$ of them count) and then you give away a 10$ game your CV will be 42$ (30+10+2).

If this still is too complicated I can give a longer explanation :)

Your question confuse me :D

But here an Easy example:
You give away a non-bundle game -> you get points!
You give away a bundle game -> you get no points!

If a game become a bundle game it will be forever a bundle game! no matter if the sell is ended or not.

Sorry for my bad english :)

I have a question too: If i give away a non-bundle game and get contribution for that game, if that very same game after a while becomes bundle-game will my contribution lower or will it stay as it was before becoming bundle?

If both you and winner click it as received before it appears in bundle it won't be counted as one.

When a game is added to the bundle list, it is added with a date beside it. If you created the giveaway before that day, your giveaway will be perceived as non-bundle.

TL: it will not lower.

If you'll give some non-bundled games you'll get CV from bundled games too. If I recall right, it something like that with each $5 non-bundled given you can get $1 bundled CV over $30.

You don't lose the value from the bundled games, they're just not calculated into your total contribution because of the bundle cap. When you give away a non-bundled game, that cap will raise automatically.

Yes, you will get the points back if you giveaway non-bundle games past the $30 mark. I kinda look at it as a bonus CV now. Whenever I giveaway a non-bundle(i.e. Batman Arkham Asylum) I get the total value of that game (19.99) but because I have given away hundreds of dollars of bundle games that are not counted yet I get 20% more so I now get $23.98 instead. Essentially after $30, bundle games will only account for 20% of your total CV.

Sorry if it is confusing, I was really confused by it when I started out as well.

I think bonus CV is the best way to describe it.
