Some ppl suggest him just mute the video until copyright issues are solved, do it to, so maybe he will do.

Shakespeare's work isn't copyrighted, and his descendants don't receive money for people using his work. Copyrights are good so that an artist can profit from their work, but they shouldn't hold that copyright forever.

I think that's a bit too long. I think 30 years after the publication of a work would be more fair, and put it in line with what it was before the 1970s.

30 years is plenty of time for the artist to make their money. And after that 30 years, they could still sell their work and still make money off of it.

Or maybe after anyone who could conceivably collect a profit from that copyright has died out

He had a deal with Bowie to keep the video up for 1 year (or abouts) that deal is up and he didn't renew it. That's all.

So, I hadn't even heard about that video and wondered what it would be like.
I could still watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_RB1ENTayU
So I've got that going for me, which is nice.

btw: Love it. Even though this kind of music is not for me, this video touches me, somehow.

720p here, if you'd prefer. :) I don't recall if the original was of a higher quality or not. It was already gone when I went to see it again. :/
