indie gala has started a giveaway site

galagiveaways.com, from the people who brought you the indie gala bundles. there doesn't seem to be a max cap on points, and you get points from having a high value of games in your account and from creating giveaways there. not much to it yet, but since we're all on a giveaway site now it might be worth checking out. i'd rather give away my stuff here because of the community, but i understand some people just want free stuff.

They blocked Dota 2 for now (which, imho, is still uninformed and stupid -- like some were saying, now there's a place to get it... except not anymore!)

First visit to the site: Bunch of bundle game giveaways. Nothing wrong here.

1st refresh: Dota 2 and Metro 2033 everywhere

2nd time visiting site: Free to play games everywhere.

WTF were they thinking with this site?

The people who are trying to take the site down with f2p game giveaways will eventually be banned. So there'll be nothing wrong with the site, remember it's in beta stage

But the fact that it was possible to create giveaways for F2P games shows something. Not hating on the site or anything though, an alternative to SG is always welcome. I also noticed there's no way to tell that you've entered a giveaway or not without pure memory. I guess Beta is Beta...

I haven't been able to get in yet, but slightly off topic, why does every Indie Gala site look absolutely horrible? Hideous low rez backgrounds, tiny buttons that always use the same oval grey design, poor flow and layout everywhere. What's going on with their web sites? It has been bugging me ever since I got my first bundle from them.
