Get free games on Desura without running the client.

Instead of popping up a window to ask for installing/running Desura client, it will show up a shop cart window, just ignore the empty cart warning and close the window, the game is in your collection now.

Step 1. Install Greasemonkey (Firefox) / Tampermonkey (Chrome)
Step 2. Install this script
Step 3. Open the info page of any free game on Desura, click the Free button.

All suggestions are welcome.

Always dubious of installing anything that claims to get me things for free as they usually have hidden nastys in them.
Running the client isn't that much of a problem anyway, so will stick with that.

As far as I know, this only works for f2p games.

Another option without the client or any third party software:

Go back to the home page, search the game and when it appears, hover it. There is a "Add to collection" button.

yep, that's the way I used to do when I'm using a computer can't install/run desura client, until I'm too lazy to copy/paste title, click homepage, search etc...

Would be even nicer to have a script to just add all games that are free automatically (which i confused the title with).
I made a list with clickable links for most of the free games (though might not be up to date).

Actually there is one, but I hide it somewhere for some reasons. If you want to try it, check the source.
