Aaaahhhh.... Not quite. We need 253 (randomly, independently chosen) people in order to have a 50%+ chance of someone having the same birthday as Wicked up there.
Calculation: 1-(364/365)^253=50.04%; I ignored leap years, and assumed all dates are equally likely... which is not exactly right, but it will have to do.
But the number you bring up is really really awesome, and surprises the hell out of most people:
If you got 23 (random) people in a room, there is a 50% chance that at least one pair of them has the same birthday (day+month).
