Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 2 Problem

I got Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, and the game won't start. What happens is, I launch it, it flickers between a black and grey colour screen, then goes back to my desktop without any errors.

Think I had this as well. A common problem that has a simple fix in the steam forum for the game, or pcgamingwiki. I'd link you but I'm on my phone.

Disable steam overlay.
Install the HD textures.
Try running it in window mode.
