I got the first 5000 games through tremorgames, then had a period i traded my cards with people buying me bundles, then they stopped and i got my own money for about 1 1/2 year now to buy my own stuff.
Plus all the cards sold from all those games, gifts i gotten, i think no more then 2000 euro own money is all invested in it.

Too bad cards nowdays lost a lot of their value. I used to trade with them as well but now it's just not worth the time and effort in doing so.

Yeah i had over 1 million coins, there was a period where it made good "money", i probably did over 300 surveys, compared to earning real money it was peanuts but i always just looked at the games i would get for it. Crowdflower had fun tasks or easy ones, just visiting casino sites, or testing a website through steps.
In it's last 1-2 years tremorgames became a shell of itself, max games i then still could get in a week were about 3.
Still sucks a bunch of people actually really scammed the companies that offered tasks, so that they also got millions of coins but without doing all the hard work, maybe that's one of the reasons it went down.
I am still surprised noone ever picked up on it and made a decent alternative, if i had the technical skills, i would have had.
Yeah, in sales you used to be able to get some decents games with it, now you get scraps for it (also event cards were worth more), i already racked up 2500 cards again i still need to get rid off someday, sigh. :p (first world problems).

Percentage played means nothing. A good portion of people afk games to get cards. I can literally tell you i am not one of those. If anything i've done that with like 4 or 5 games ages ago back when i used to afk tf2 for drops (which was short lived).
Almost 25k account value and around 24% games played, do keep in mind, i do not "play games" to hoard cards. I'm close to 2k games, so this is almost 500 games played throughout the years. Some were played for a short amount of time, some were put in the garbage bin because i did not like them, some others left midway completion and waiting for the day i return to them, and so on.

My higher then average should also take into account i rarely finish games, i start waaaaaay more games then i finish. Sometimes is from fun (or lack there-of), other times from long hiatus on games i like (at wich point i prefer to restart from the begining). Heck one of the batman games i was at the final boss before i paused gaming for months, changed pcs... when i got back i just restarted lol

Myself, i have a account value of around 33.600 $ (average user = 17.250 $) and a percentage played of 53 % (average user : 29 %)
I don't know if is a good score again actual active user for steamgifts and don't know if the more account value you have, the less percentage played you have.
