Yes it is worth it because not everyone wants to sit through a 30 minute to an hour long video/gameplay review. Reviews on the larger websites are often dubious and often paid for, for the bigger release titles.

In my opinion nothing gives a better idea of a game than talking to and getting the opinion of those who've played it (Bar downloading a demo of course)!

Shogo is a great game and so is Disgaea so no need to ask twice
