i didn't think so, but either way i'm still plenty satisfied with the machine anyways. i purchased 10-series laptop from newegg which are both listed here, but when i filed a ticket with newegg about it i got this response:
We apologize for any confusion with your order. Unfortunately your laptop was not part of the promotion at the time of purchase and as the promotion is being handled by Nvidia we do have to go by their terms and conditions for the promotion.
when that promo was up at least 2weeks prior to my purchase and had a micro hand in helping me decide. not a big enough part of the decision to really care or complain beyond that ticket questioning it though.

check steamtrades, if you want one. those are usually quite cheap. got my Wildlands for 20€. the SEA codes work fine with VPN, by the way.

i don't want one bad enough to pay for it at all tbh, it just would of been a nice bonus to the $1400 purchase. ^^
i was glad to see they finally included laptops in general since it was so much more expensive for those gpus they included even the 1050 & 1060 series in laptop, but then to not receive it kinda sucked.

yeah, you always have to check the vendor list on the nvidia page before you buy. same thing happened to me some years ago. i thought i get a coupon automatically, when in reality many vendors don't give you one.

i see. i guess you could have demanded to double-check the dates and give you a key. but if you weren't that interested in the games in the first place, it probably wasn't worth it. ^^
though, i really can recommend For Honor :)
what annoys me is the fact that we can only use one coupon. this time it was alright (because i wanted to have FH on Steam anyway), but next time it might piss me off. ^^
