It was obvious long time ago. It will not be easy to take people from LoL now, so with P2P would be imposible.

It was obvious when they confirmed it will support LAN.

What's wrong with people wanting to play early? knowing valve they will probably giving something to everyone in the beta.

It was always well known Dota 2 will be free. They cannot release a non free game against LOL, HON, etc...

people traded for the beta KNOWING it was going to eventually be freely available. they wanted it earlier though, so i wouldnt call them suckers. and no i didnt trade for it... but i certainly wouldnt insult people who did. they werent stupid, just impatient :)

If it wasnt going to be F2P the "suckers" who traded it already knew beta would eventually end anyway. Everyone was aware of what they were getting. Your logic sucks.... you suck.

THEY know it'll be f2p in the end, they trade/spend money on it because they wanted early access to the game.
