Steam and Titanfall, someday?

I don't understand why origin gets so much hate. I never had any problems with the client. Also, about the money churning thing, I do agree that it has a bad revenue model (with Day one DLC and stuff) but I don't think the hate towards the company and their games as a whole is not justified.

The game looks pretty cool but I can't see myself buying it. I avoid Origin unless they want to give more games for crazy cheap in another bundle.

I know a lot of people hate on Origin for no reason but I've had numerous legitimate problems with it.

• Friends List deleted itself and I couldn't re-add anyone as "my friends list was full". Had to fully reinstall client.
• Couldn't bring up overlay in-game. Had to find cracked .dll files online to get it working.
• Some games won't launch at all unless I disable my Antivirus' Active Scan; something I never had to do with Steam.

Needless to say, I don't go out of my way to buy games on Origin.

I have nothing against using Origin/Origin only games IF the game is one of my most anticipated ones but titanfall is not one of those games.

Now if it was on steam the possibility of me buying it increases. I just love having everything in one library and I couldn't care less if it were to go from Steam -> Origin -> Titanfall, like some Ubisoft games do with Uplay.

EA wants to force people to use origin... which sucks.

So much drama. "I really want to give EA money for the game, but I really don't want to give money to EA for the platform for the game, because the Internet told me it's cool to hate on Origin".
