Never talk about the dollar value of games. Just say you are not interested. Some people prize their games like family heirlooms.

Everyone is out for themselves on Steamtrades.com, so it's perfectly normal to see a lack of common courtesy.

SteamTrades should really just be called lowballand, that would be a more accurate description of what's happening there.

This guy called me stupid and removed me because I chose to trade with somebody else after he took over an hour to reply to my request.

Trading for 'profit'.

Because that's the point of trading. It can't be as simple as just getting something you want for something you have with it being a reasonable deal. No, the monetary consideration still matters even when you're explicitly just bartering.
