That's weeeird.
I have the uPlay versión so I cannot help you with that, sorry. I guess you already tried validating local files? How about switching Windows with Alt+Tab? Maybe you should be running the game as Administrator?

Hello!
As the title says, I have a problem with Assassin's Creed.
The game itself works, but I have no Steam ingame (Steam Overlay).
I start the game normaly, from Steam, it works, but there's no notification in the corner and SHIFT+TAB does not work.
A friend of mine told me that it shows me ingame for about 2 seconds (green "border") then it goes back to Online (blue "border").
I've checked and unchecked the overlay option 2-3 times, nothing changes.
I've played this game before (like 1 year ago) and it worked just fine.
In need the overlay to chat while I'm playing and I want to make some screenshots.
Any idea what's causing this problem?
