I can't judge that. Never played it.

I found it boring and repetitive. Not to mention crude with regards to writing.
Lash, shoot, lash kick, shoot, lash, kick.

Was kinda fun, I liked the characters but the action got pretty repetitive, plus it was like 5-6 hours long.

I thought it was great. Juvenile as hell and much too short, but super entertaining from start to finish.

I really liked it. I thought the relatively short gameplay was perfect for it. Much more and it would have started to get stale.

After a while the banter started to bug me

I think it was a really good game, pump-up action, hilarious quirks, and the story was nothing special, but It was good for this game. not to mention the ending with Sarrano was really suspenseful, I wanted to kill that bastard. Long story short it delivered what it wanted, nothing more nothing less.

Played the demo like 20 times, but played the full game for only 30 minutes or so

When I bought it many ppl said "the game is not that good" but hell...I love it...So far 2 SP playthroughs and a few hours of coop MP. IMO its one of the best FPS

I picked it up for free with the Origin $20 code a few days back, I'm guessing it's somewhat similar to Borderlands?

yeah is awesome.. i play it long ago... the last winter sale i try to buy it in steam... GFWL says "This game is not available in your region, bitch" :/

Aside from the huge amount of game-stopping bugs, I would have to agree that it is really really fucking friend.
